Angora is Mutazelite at the beginning.

There is no texts for the event Unhappyness among the peasantry choices.

Angora is not Mutazelite at game start. Karaman must have gotten a heretics random event or something very weird must have happened. It's sunni for me in-game, the province.csv file has it as sunni and the prov_1419 does not redefine it as shiite.

I have added text for the Unhappiness event.

Hi, I'm quite new to the game so I may be doing something wrong, anyways I can't run your mod :(
I unzipped the 6.10 beta into the main EU2 folder, then launched the .bat file. I choose the country to start with (any) the game loads but at the end crashes... any idea of the reason ?
I have also installed the Independent Europe scenario which is installed in pretty much the same way of your scenario and it works fine

some possibilities I can think of:

You don't have the latest patch. If you don't, install it. If you do have it, continue on.

Something messed up during install (it happens even if you do everything right, sometimes...), in which case you could try a reinstall. Still not working then?

Panic ;)

Minor, but the Brittanian event granting a core on Anglica fires for a different province (366, I think...it's one off for sure). Sure, I just did a retcon and immediately declared war on the Hansa, but you may want to know. ;)

It lacks a trigger province, cause it fires when I was playing Byzantium, without any land in Egypt.

I (Byzantium) retake Lebanon/Aleppo/Syria/Judea/Samaria from the Caliphate but it keeps the levantine culture. Is that WAD ?

I saw there is an event for Ragusa's cot to disappear if taken by Sicily or Genoa. Why isn't one when conquerd by Byzantium ? It seems strange not to destroy this CoT which is so close of the main one (Thrace or Hellas).

Thanks times six!

In checking up that event and finding the trigger error, I found similar ones in related events, so with one bug report I managed to squish six of the little nasties!

Thanks Culise!

A few things with Britanny

*Event 420029, "Parliment's Declaration of Integrity" which gives Brittany a claim on the Midlands should require events 420025, 420026, 420027, and 420028 I'm assuming, rather than 420025, 420026, 420028, and 420028.

*Why do all the assimilation events give Brittany extra badboy? It seems to me that giving the conquered provinces legal representation would tend to make people more accepting of the conquests. This is sort of implied by the way the assimilation events in Britain give Brittany cores on those provinces, though that could be local recognition rather than international recognition.

*The text of all the assimilation events from France refer to the province of Bristol.

*Event 420200. Text should be "due to programming errors" not "doe to programming errors."

*Event 420641, the establishment of a Brittany CoT due to New World goods, mistakenly refers to the Brittany CoT as in "Ulster."

*I couldn't figure out the difference between events 420669 and 420670.

*Finally, for the Act of Union events for getting anglosaxon culture with a separated parliment, there are seperate conditions for 'stability = 0' and 'stability = 2'.

*Event 420226 never fired for some reason, despite the fact that I was meeting the conditions from about 1455 t0 1520.

*The event for Wessex converting to reform fired before the John Calvin event fired, so nothing happened.

*I think -2 stabilty and +1 innovativeness is a little harsh to have for every single province of yours that converts to protestantism if you choose not to repress them.

Excellent points all.

I add the province = 744 to the Alexandia event.

For the event in which Ragusa can lose a CoT I added something that I thought I had already done, which makes the event trigger if Byzantium owns the province.

I created a new event for the Caliphate titled "The Patriarch Denounces the Caliph and Islam in which it loses syrian (levantine) culture if it loses control of Syria and Aleppo and the owner is not sunni culture and the two provinces are not both sunni culture.

Thanks for all those points.

That would be elegant, except that if the Byzantine event triggers first, then the caliphate conquers the provinces necessary to gain Syrian culture, then those provinces are reconquered ... etc etc

In this case, better to have them as separate objects.

My two cents concerning the colonisation :

As usal the player has no problem when he wants to colonise. As Byzantium I took Texas+Louisiane+Mississipi without any difficulty. There was nobody there except natives.

However, IA-played Hanseatic League can't manage to colonise the USA (or the place they were in real history). It doesn't seem able to win over the haudenosse (or whatever it's spelled) and to efficiently explore the coast. Eire did better in Canada, probably because the area is empty and it began the exploration before the League.

I think IA-played League should be tweaked to be more efficient, maybe with some explorers or conquistadors. In Caribbean it successfully colonise some islands.

South America is a mess, with mayas, bavarian, irish, zapotec (after a war I guess) , genoese and hanseatic having colonise some provinces along the brasilian coast. Is this intended ? Or should some "blocks" appear ?

In addition to that, in 1750 California is empty. Which nation has it as a goal in its AI file ?

My advise about colonisation was: let some noneuropean countries do the job for dirty poor or far provs so at 1820 coastline would be colonised.
Muslim Inca would do it to argentina and patagonia poor grain/fish/wool provs.
Ternate (pagan/hindu/catholic/reformed/muslim) could do it to Australia and New Zealand. Japan could do it to Far East and Camchatka or west coast of Namerika...
As in game there is no portugal or especialy Spain, there can be some problems in filling space...
