Hi, I've got a quick question regarding air combat. I'm playing Germany with the Total War mod (not that that, in this case, would make a difference). I'm currently in February 1940, preparing to invade the Benelux and France. Ever since my invasion of Poland, I've been fighting a vicious air battle with British bombers over Northwest and Eastern Germany.

I'm a bit confused on how to interpret the numbers from those battle statistics. For example, when I look at enemy bombers lost in the 'days' section, it says 45. But that's not 45 per day, right? Or am I missing something?

It's indeed very badly designed and only makes sense from the implementation point of view. The "days" view is a sliding windows of the most recent 31 days. The totals (like your 45) you see there are the sum across the entire window. Whenever a new calendar month comes around, the last calendar month's day-values get rolled up into one data point in the "months" view, which in turn is a sliding window of the last 12 complete calendar months. And similarly for years.
If you want to see the numbers for individual days, you have to look at the almost comically ugly graphs.
