Internet Ordering...

If I decide not to wait until the 24th, the 25th, or whenever EB does decide to stock Victoria in its stores, which company should I deal with? If I do order it online, what is the typical delay before it arrives at my home?

Some feedback including company names and results would be very much appreciated.

I preordered from ebgames.com two days ago, and it shipped yesterday, after i had recieved a notice that it would be delayed till monday. Just got lucky i guess.

EBgames follows the bizarre, counterintuitive policy of shipping web orders before shipping to its branches, even if they have pre-orders. So your better off ordering from EBgames than going to one, at least so it seems.

I ordered from DVDBoxoffice, but my game didn't ship today (or at least I got no confirmation email) so I'll have to wait till next wendsday probably.

I looked at ordering from the EB website and if u look at shipping details... They dont ship on weekends and it being friday night you still probably wont get till monday or tuesday maybe.

I got my copy from gogamer.com and I was really impressed with the service; I ordered before 3:00pm on Wednesday and they processed the order and gave it to Fed-Ex the same day. So with two day shipping, it got here on Friday (11-21) and there was much rejoycing.

If you ordered this weekend the order would be shipped on Monday; the earliest you would get it would be Tuesday if you did overnight Fed-Ex, or Wednesday for 2-day. It seems to be a sure thing rather than doing the EB - Gamestop Shuffle I have been reading about here.

Got a call from EB Games Customer Service. I raised so much hell with my complaints, including the threats to pursue this legally with the FTC, that they offered free overnight shipping and a discount. Should arrive Monday or Tuesday at latest.

Not as good as having it now. But it was nice having the EB service manager calling me and kissing my, well you get the idea.
