It seems to be. And as to what mechs, tabletop rules (around which mechs are designed) say that DHS is an all or nothing deal. Can't mix and match them with regular ones. So any mech that comes stock with DHS (BSK Maz, Atlas II, the SL Griffin, SL Highlander, etc) should get the extra 30 dissipation it has been missing.

I'm pretty sure you still can.

Just saying that the mechs included in the game are designed using tabletop rules, so no stock mech will mix and match them, and therefore, any mech variant that has DHS should have gotten the 30 heat dissipation it was missing.

I heard/saw somewhere mechs are getting internal DHS for mech engines. Is this correct? if so what mechs?

The Crab CRB-27b and the Phoenix Hawk PXH-1b should also have them, but I can't access the DLCs' chassisDef files to confirm it.

I can confirm that the SLDF GRF-2N now has internal DHS. Before, jumping and firing 4 SRM6s would overheat it pretty quickly, but now it's ice cold. I think I can put some more guns on it now.

The BSK-MAZ now sinks 78 heat, as opposed to 48 before (it has 3xDHS in its loadout). It can now alpha twice without overheating! :)

I can actually use that battery of ER Mediums now!
It helps that I usually take off the LB 10-X guns for LB 2-X ++ models instead.

... nobody tell the Bounty Hunter and Black Widow what they happened to leave us to pick up?
