I like many of the improvements but I'm really disappointed the interface hasn't been improved much...

1) The building construction interface hasn't been improved at all and was one of the biggest annoyances from EU3. There should be a build queue for each province instead of having to micromanage one building at a time. When your empire gets large it becomes a real chore and detracts from the fun. Build queues have been the norm in strategy games for many many years so I'm not sure why PDS hasn't done this. This is not one of those situations where being different is better. Clicking a building then scanning the map for provinces with the right color so you know you can build there is NOT a good solution...sorry.

2) Loading armies onto ships has actually taken a step back. Now instead of clicking 1 button and taking off you have to click the attach button then click your fleet. Not a major complaint, but I hate to see things going backward instead of forward.

3) Is there no rally point functionality for building ships/units? I like what Vicky 2 has for this. This may just be me not knowing how yet, but this is pretty standard stuff and should be intuitive (i.e. I shouldn't have to find out how in the forums).

All in all I like the game and will be playing it, but I hope the interface is improved at some point.

The build interface has been so improved that I can't believe you said that! Queues might be nice, though.

You can still just right click your troops to move onto the ships.

Good idea.

Constructive suggestion: Whenever you're in the construction tab (the button in the upper left corner), clicking on a building would scroll through all possible locations you can build it in. That way you can easily find that last little colonial province that is missing this specific building.

I agree with the last two.

I think this would be a great, and probably easy to implement, solution. I still think a build queue is sorely needed in addition to this.
