Interesting nations

I wonder what you people think will be funny or intresting nations to play?
Powerfull nations such as USA or Germany for exammple. But also small nations.

Sweden: Minor nation with alot of steel while also having the advantage of not necessarily being a target for a major power. You can work with all major factions and definitely make a difference in the war. You can also try to build an empire on your own, your neighbours are far weaker then you as they don't have much industry or resources.

I found communist China to be really good fun in HOI3, eventually conquering all of Asia bar Russia.

Siam: One of the few independent countries in East Asia, with a legitimate military and some imperial ambitions and history. Surrounded by great powers and in a very strategic location.

Poland is always fun to play. I have done so many different scenarios with Poland trying different options to see if I can hold back Germany and/or the USSR.

I think I'm going to like Italy. It's one of the weaker majors, not quite a colonial powerhouse, has an interesting historical ambition to recreate its glory as an imperial power. They're Fascist at start, but still something of a wild card.

Turkey seems like it could be fun to play as well. Turn to Socialism, join the Comintern and claim the Balkans while the USSR wrecks Northern Europe! And then shatter the imperialist dogs trying to feast of Middle East.

I am interested in China and India. India was only possible with manually triggering indepdence. In AoD i joined Axis as India but the germans got defeated 1947. I had a single province defence line in Kashgar against the russians and i conqerued Indochina and Malaysia for resources. But it was not possible to win. It was a stalemate for 10 years. After 10 years i had 10 fortress in Kashgar + Railway Guns bombarding the neighbouring enemy provinces (no air superiority). US und British try to land in Borneo/ Thailand but everytime they push in i throw them back and kill their troops. Was fun, i hope in HoI i can develop a better war production with medium states.
