I think I've been on this forum long enough to try to do an actual forum game, so here's my idea. An IAAR based on one a TW Game. I have not chosen which yet, but I plan to use this thread to figure that out.
Now time for the meat and bones, how the game will work. So far, I have the following planned out:
1. Characters will be divided into three classes, Governor, Generals, and MP/Senator/Congressmen/etc.
2. Governors will lead groups of cities, deciding what buildings they want to build.
3. Generals will lead campaigns, recruit troops, and so on.
4. The Senate will have three jobs. First, it will allocate money to Governors and Generals, who will then use that money to build and recruit. Secondly, they will decide foreign policy, e.g. who to war with and who to make peace with. And lastly, they will appoint Generals and Governors, as well as remove them as needed.
The game will take place in turns, where I show screenshots of the campaign map and the characters tell me what to do. I will personally lead battles, but I will consult with Generals if I see that a battle looks imminent.
I might add more options, such as coups, intrigue, and rebellions, but for now this is the core of the game.
Finally, I will say that I have talked to 2kNikk, who shows some interest in joining as Co-GM.
I will include a list of TW games that I own below.
