I think one of the most interesting ways to play ck3 will be to peacefully take over other royal families via royal marriages and other ways to get your people into their courts in order to gain control over their domain or parts of it, not dissimilar to political power runs with the german reich in hoi4. Want to discuss anything about this or perhaps other matters related to courts? Just do it on this thread, be it merely a particular thing you want to try, balance/feature suggestions for the devs, or anything else.

it's what makes CKII special and i don't see them watering any of that down. they've said they want to strengthen it.

It looks like ck3 will be great in these regards. Perhaps multi choice event story threads could be another way to influence what is happening in other courts.

I would love to see are more random event story threads that connect your character to other characters and make a good use of your traits or what is going on in the game world at the time.

so for example if you are an English duke and your wife is a French princess, then the French king is a tyrant and murders some popular courtier... perhaps it could kick off a story thread where you can denounce the actions of your father-in-law. Then perhaps your wife gets angry and goes back to the French court for a while while she is mad at you. Or perhaps she also denounces him too and it leads to another effect.

I love the event story chains in ck2, but I would love to see them developed more.
