I told you I'm a noob on Hearts of Iron, and this is true :D

So, my question of today is "Interceptors, this foreign units": there is actually a distinction between interceptors and fighters. 3 days ago an Italian interceptor forced a plane from Lebanon to land in Rome due to a fake bomb alert.

So, if interceptors are here, they are necessary for something. But how to use them? I think that they should be: enemy air spotted ---> they hunt it and take it down. Air scrambling, should be. How to do it? There isn't such a order in the game :)

ok, thank you. So, now I would really like to ask another thing: I usually prefer Infantry to Cavalry. But now I'm playing as Russian Empire and I see a lot of cavalry units, and so I think that for now it would be worth to upgrade them. I started looking at tech tree, and I see that there are "semi motorized" and "mechanized cavalry".

So, I can't get the difference between motorized cavalry and mot. infantry... they look the same! So... keep upgrading cavalry or not? :)

Semi-mot cav is horse + some trucks, armored cars and light tanks while Mot. Inf. is fully motorised and much faster
Cav fights better in desert and moutain, Mot fights better in forest and has better air defense
So use Cav in the caucasus, and use Mot in all other russian plains/forests
I build and upgrade non motorised cav to Mot.Inf, it takes longer but is much cheaper than a brand new Mot
