intercepting troop convoy

Dev said in order to launch a naval invasion, you need sea supremacy and that troop convoy is protected by the navy. But what about inbound troop to other coast? Let's say Japan is invading Australia and US is sending troops from across Pacific to reinforce Australia to fend off invading Japanese. Then US troop convoy travel through Pacific and cross some seas which Japanese submarine operated. Then would Japanese sub able to sink troop convoy?

Yes. for invasions you cant start it unless its pretty safe (pretty safe isnt 100% safe tho), but for regular transports there is no restrictions. Enemy fleets on raid/patrol etc will engage and sink them if there is not enough escorts to protect.

Will your troops be able to put on your allies transports? The older Armageddon game you could do this hearts of Iron 3 you could not. So German troops going to North Africa had to be shipped on German not Italian transports which is historically not accurate .

Transports are no actual marine unit. I guess they are taken from the convois? However, they are used automatically when issuing naval transport or invasions.

My guess would be that Germany would need to give the troops to Italy as an expeditionary force, and that maybe after that they can use Italian transports? A very rough guess though. EU4 allows for allies to use your transports (given appropriate settings), so it's something PDS has done recently.
