Yes, no excuses other than it being late at night. Will fix it.

I'll have the industrial tech tree tomorrow -- tentatively I've added 28 manufacturing techs. Also, added more agriculture, cryptography, and oil refining. My draft has a total of 100 researchable items -- however, may need to cut back if I can't get it all on the one screen.

Controlled provinces are those that the country owns or has conquered. The national provinces which are not included in the owned list are those for which a country has claims.

Attached below is the industry tech screen. I couldn't fit the nuclear research line -- will move this to the secret weapons (which I'm going to rename Advanced Tech). I will be revising the layout of the industrial and radar techs. I was trying to get nuclear on this screen and so was willing to bleed over a bit on that first column, but releazied at 1:00 a.m. that it wasn't going to work. I will be making the first column solely industry and start the radar tech after the manufacturing ends in the second column, before the rocket techs.

I've included three Mining Technology Techs, these add a supplies boost plus an IC boost. However, these could also be used in events to affect the amount of additional resources added to a province (or provinces). For now I think we should just adopt the IC and resource layout of the vanilla game. After we get the first release out (tech, basic events, map, rudimentary AI), research can be done to determine how this should change.

Will begin working on the Advanced Tech screen tonight.

I'll have the Advanced Tech posted tomorrow morning. Right now I have the nuclear techs (those from the industrial page, plus the ones from the vanilla tech screen), the computer techs, There will be room for more items -- I will be adding Long Lance Torpedos for sure. I'm still trying to decide if I want to add a gas brigade, a specialized infiltration infantry unit, and a heavy weapons brigade for WWI era. Another specialized unit could be a convoy raider or two -- since I'm not using the nuclear submarine those 10 slots can be used for units (and this would avoid the need to have an escort for the convoy raider). I may leave these out for now and think about it again after running some combat tests (will move to creating unit files after getting the tech pages done, then get to tech component items).

I would have had it today, but we had no power at home last night due to Thunderstorms (the same one hit Chicago later in the day). Tonight I'll also begin work on the Land Doctrine tree.

Below is the Advanced Tech screen. I didn't include the WWI era special weapons -- still think about those, however, they can be added later as there is plent of room.

I've sketched out the additions to the Land Doctrine tree -- each branch will have five new techs and I've redated some of them to spread it out of the time period. I've made some initial decisions on benefits of each tech -- these can be adjusted when we get to testing combat. Should have this posted on Monday morning.

Well, that's a bit of a difficult question. I'd like to start it on January 1, 1918 so that a player playing as the Whites in the Russian Civil War can save the Tsar, but the only maps I can find of the Western Front in 1918 are from March!

when your mod starts, can you ?

Best to start on December 1, 1917. But anyway the Tzar has already
lost his throne. He abdicated as early as in March 1917.
How are you going to save him ? Isn't it a little bit late ?

The front line in the West on December 1st, 1917 was exactly
the same as right before they started the offensive in March 1918.

I meant save him from being executed by the Bolsheviks... that didn't happen until early 1918.
