When i play a country i still see messages coming up saying my country failed/succeeded in delaying this or that research work in country x and i havent done any of the like.
Dont seems like money are spend by this undercover AI - but its kinda odd.

Any1 know bout this and if there is anythingto do about it ?

Your game is not patched to Armageddon 1.3, isn't it?
There were some bugged intelligence messages in all older versions. Those are fixed in 1.3.

Correct i - (erhem) havent patched yet up to 1.3 in spite i played the game periodically now for like 5 years. Ok its time then when im dome with my present scenarios. Just yesterday i had my Finnish game up and in 1938 Finland delayed a research project in the USA shortky after we finalised a profitable trade of rares for money

Hey i got promoted now - i must be an old guard type . Can u advice me: what patch should i take then ? 1.3 ARMA public beta 2 ?

The 1.3beta2 will fix many issues, it will not fix things like you describe above with intelligence hits against countries you are trading with. For example, USSR and Germany still pummel each other with spies.
