Instead of going ahead one spot army unit takes a really long route

Currently at war with Germany and cannot attack with armies that are on their border. As you can see when I try and move ahead one spot into Germany it does not let me. Instead it wants me to go all the way around through Italy and France. Any way to fix this at all? Thanks!

Has poland joined the war yet? That looks like what happens when you try to i vade through a neutral country.

Good call! I have both of those countries as puppet states and forgot to call them into the war. Thanks!
