Instead of dev diaries

How about, seeing as you have stopped dev diaries for the Christmas break, replace the diaries with time lapses every Friday. Playing as observe or Switzerland, just leave the computer on and post the results or a timelapse video on the forum. That way we could see the situations that the AI gets the world into.

sounds like a cool idea, but i think that they know that the game is not polished enough, and will probably crash, judging from the shoddy AI in the WW-W it seems that the game is far from finished.

I think Wiz implied it was turned off in that build on purpose but the mistake was then using that build in the stream. Just to clarify things

I think my suggestion of a produced feed of the game showing the correct screen that Johan/Jakob/Troy wants to talk about the how, whys and whats of the game rather than the live feed is still the best way to go.

They have stated that balancing since needs to be done so I don't think an observer video is a good idea yet but I would love to see one eventually.

They're on holiday at the moment, so I doubt we'll see much, but I have no issue with the dev team getting holidays . If they wanted to give us some screenies over the break I wouldn't complain, of course, but I think we should be patient and let them all have a good break.

They'd have to find and authorize a volunteer. Probably would have been arranged already if something like this was going to be released over the vacation.

Its not about the effort involved. It would probably be illegal in Sweden to ask employees to work during their vacation time.

If they were to do this they would've probably had to have already prepared everything beforehand.

I'd actually be more happy if the devs stopped giving us previews of the game. Every post they make gathers tons of criticism over the most arbitrary of topics.

Qemarar, that's a community problem. Not something the devs should cater to. The devs should absolutely keep posting diaries and WWW videos. I soak every ounce of it up, and it makes me even more ready for the game!

Not at all, but they are on holidays. When I'm off work (and I enjoy both my work and the people I work with), I like to be "off work". You never know, it's not beyond the very cool folk at PDS stuff to post things like that, but I don't feel it's right to expect them to.
