This is a new issue for me with Abraham/2.0. The game loads fine, I can pick a character, move around the map, but once I try to click on virtually anything, the game CTDs without giving me an error message. I tried verifying integrity of game cache, deleting everything and reinstalling, nothing has worked. Game is completely unplayable.

We've had a couple of other reports like this, and a clean re-install has always fixed them. Do perhaps when you deleted everything, you actually missed something - there are two locations you need to check.
STEAM
a full clean re-install:
- move any valued save games elsewhere
- "delete local files" in Steam
- manually delete all files left under Steam/CK2 AND Documents/CK2
- re-install game in Steam, run a verify when done.
GAMERSGATE
a full clean re-install:
- move any valued save games elsewhere
- uninstall the game from Windows
- manually delete all files left under the GG CK2 AND Documents/CK2 folders
- re-install game from GG but point it to a new location outside the system path, such as c:\games\ck2\
- apply the latest patch (only)

a full clean re-install:
