Installing iron cross on steam ( HOI2 complete pack)

How? Do i iinstall it on top of the installed steam game HOI2 complete pack or install it on the dooms day folder inside the steam imstalled game pack

confusing I know thats why im posting

For the latest beta do i need iron cross 1.02 patch for it to be installed over?

I get ctd once launching campaign someone help please i decided to reinstall after playing ic with dh now its not working anymore

Hi

1- Install your hoi2 complete and run the game
2- Find in the steam path your hoi2 complete
3- Copy the folder and paste (for example in c:\games\hoi2)
4- Install Iron Cross 1.00 in the folder c:\games\hoi2
5- Install the 1.03beta (you don't need 1.02)

managed to get it to work but it comes with gfx/pallete_ spy/ spy or something is missing but i press ignore then it loads not sure if its game breaking or not

Good its not just me. I tried to install iron cross over steams hoi2 complete months ago but also couldnt get it to work so i gave up. Its one of the main reasons i stopped playing iron cross as much cause i couldnt use all those new features from 1.02 without getting this to work. Some of my confusion came from the fact "hearts of iron 2 complete pack" has a sub folder called "Doomsday" with much the same files in and im not sure how steam using the directories cause you can choose what version you want to play only through steam.

Anyway Im up for having a good go at getting it to work.

But... works? Can you installed the hoi2 complete + ic?

Run IronCross_setup and uncheck 'Deactivate Intelligence panel', save and run

hey i installed it on the doomsday folder and that one works better than installing on the main folder i beleive its only Hoi2

IIRC you have to:

Install Doomsday 1.2
Install Arma 1.3
Install IC 1.3 over Arma

i don't know what version on steam is it doomsday or it is already Arma...

Why don't you try and open the game? IIRC checksum is JCJS for doomsday, HPVR for Arma.
