Installing DV

I'm considering purchasing DV this weekend, however I have a few questions.

I use several mods with my CK (like Veld's culture mod, and BOPACK/Smack events). Should I simply reinstall CK and patch it to 1.5, THEN install DV, or will it be fine to install DV over my current CK. Will it cause any problems, or will it work fine?

There may be some small problems if you use a 1.05 mod, since DV has returned some of the traits to their original use and has implemented new traits.

You're lucky though: Bopack/Smack is fixed for DV compatibility, and Veld has a new version of his mod up that is DV aware.
