I tried installing the CORE mod over Armageddon and now I can't play Armageddon, but I can play CORE (Doomsday ver.1.3a LALC - modCORE2). The years are stated as 1936-1953 on the initial CORE page. Is this actually installed over Doomsday and not Armageddon? Will it not draw from any of the Armageddon enhancements - ie. year ending 1964, ship brigade attachments, etc.? When I downloaded CORE from the terranova.dk website, I followed the instructions exactly... and chose to install over the Armageddon option as selectable in the installer. Thoughts?

This is where CORE is installed -
"C:\Program Files\Paradox Interactive\Doomsday\HoI2.exe" mod-CORE2

I've replied over at terranova.dk as well, but, in a nutshell, it depends on selecting the right path for your Armageddon install - this changes depending on whether you have a Gamers Gate download version of Armageddon, or the Anthology version. The Anthology version actually calls the folder "Armageddon", IIRC, whilst the GG download version still calls it "Doomsday", I believe.

Myself, I have a perfectly functional install of CORE over an Anthology install on Armageddon, so it certainly can be done, and it wasn't anything tricky - just manually select the correct install destination folder.

Thanks, Tim! My version of Arm is from Gamers Gate (GG) and not the Anthology. As you said, the GG version downloads to "Doomsday" and not "Armageddon" as the Anthology does. It was a very simple fix to put the C.O.R.E. Mod into "Doomsday" and then select "Armageddon" as the download version. Now I'm off to play as Germany in what looks like an excellent Mod. Thanks again!

Obviously you can install a clean copy of Doomsday into a folder named Armageddon and then use the GG upgrade to migrate to ARM. I know I did... :)
