installation problem(i guess)

hi guys

Itry to install core, but i doesn,t work

I have installed HOI, then 1.05 and 1.05c, then the picture pack
then core.v.07.exe and at last the core.v.071.
The installation goes well, but when i try to start the game, a ""dosbox""
appears,and a lot of sentences goes over the screen,

can someone help??

Have you tried waiting for the programme to load? Should take about a minute or two.

i, ve just tried it again, and waited several minutes

if i start core, then the core screen appears, and said ""event library loading....please wait""
than te dosox appears withe the title ""C:\winnt\system32\cmd.exe""
i see then a lot of text with copiing files and it looks like if it is fast scrolling, then the core screen goes away and the dosbox stays, nothing further happens.

The DOS Box should do two thing:

copy db\province.core.csv db\province.csv
hoi mod-CORE

You can try executing these two orders manually:
1. Make sure the province.csv file is the CORE one
2. run "hoi.exe" with the parameter "mod-CORE"

Why don't you paste the DOS Box text here, so we can find the error?

it looks in the dosbox, if the text is fast scrolling, when i click in the dosbox the text stands stil

the text is:
C:\program files\strategy first\hearts of iron\hoi

C:\program files\strategy first\ hearts of iron\ copy db\province.bak.csv.db\province.csv

1 file(s) copied

this text , i think a 100x

Then just run "hoi.exe" with "mod-CORE" as parameter.
