Hi all, I recently started up a new game of CK for the first time in a good while, and I'm met with a conundrum.
I've recently reformed the tribal kingdoms of Ireland into a merchant republic, and I want to have my son elected the next doge, but currently he is a feudal ruler over in Scottish Wales outside my realm. I haven't played as a pub in years, and so between the frequent rule changes and general bugs with elections I don't know how succession actually works. In this current patch would making him my designated heir result in a game over screen or becoming a feudal kingdom? Or would he be a prince mayor with some castles? Thanks all.
