Hi!
In my recent CK2 game (DLC up to Charlemagne, Ironman) I was somewhat successful in my intent to eventually conquer the kingdom of England. My realm was set up well - Primogeniture (with an idiot son I had banished instead of killing him, so he would actually inherit after all, grrrr) etc. Then I decided to found the Kingdom of Albion - which was all well, until I noticed that suddenly my inheritance laws had changed to Agnatic-Cognatic Gavelkind.
WTF? Why would the game change this without telling me before founding the kingdom? From what I can see this now threatens to split up my kingdom.
What can I do to change this (It's unlikely my current king will survive the 10 years required)?
