Hi i read the wikipedia Article about Princess Saharbanu a sassanid princess and later wife of Caliph Ali, in the article about her and the legends around her and other former sassanid princesses and and their descendants it looks like it was somehow important for rulers to have part of the Sassanid bloodline. It is especially seem to be important of part of the legancy for the Shiite.

In Ck2 the Blood of Sassan seems to be Patrilineal, but maybe there should be some way in the inhearance of the bloodline or some events which might be able to similate the importance of that bloodline for rulers who wanted to rule over early parts of Iran even as vassals for the Abbasids, and some way to create the struggle and politics for early Islam in Iran until it will get accepted? - Maybe especially important if the rule of the Abbasids might collapse in that region?

Maybe if the Abbasids rulership might collapse then also some events that the new and maybe weaker rulers if the are muslim and not in the iranian culture group have some struggles there or also some special events for that area besides the regular events. The iranian culture was more resiliant to assimilation compared with other parts the arabs conquered. - So maybe there could be a eventchain tied to Ferdwosi and his work the Shanameh, which might could be some specal "great work" for a poet and in the end if a special gifted ruler might create it by himself or some character Ferdwosi turned up in a court and the ruler supports him with a vast of money like it is written in the stories around that book around 35 years the ruler will recieve a special great work as a book, which could recieve some buffs against cultural assimilation in the iranian region or especially the parts the owner of that artefact rules if he is in the iranian group.

And also maybe something could get added, to simulate things like Mardavij a king of the King of the Ziyarid dynasty who wanted to revive Iran, even when the Karen or other start characters are gone, so a player has more compition if the player wants to seek to restore some kind of old persia for him or herself.

Some kind of stuff that that region might be less static for a huge empire at the beginning.
