Being a stock trading noob, I thought the opening price would be the same as the IPO price, but instead of 33 it opened at 46.

I would just like to say thank you for giving us the oportunity to be a part of the business and i got all the shares i applied for via the friends & Fans form.
33% up on first day and holding steady. I will not let go for many years to come. Excelent IPO congrats Paradox!

Being a stock trading noob, I thought the opening price would be the same as the IPO price, but instead of 33 it opened at 46.

It opens at how much people are ready to pay for it.
If people were ready to pay it 33, then price would have been 33.

If people were at most ready to pay 20, price would have drop to 20 (if someone would have been ready to sold their).
Welcome to the stock exchange where it's only a matter about the price people propose/ask for and not any real price.

Even though I got a bit disappointed with the small share quota I got, the PM on Avanza today with keys for Cities Skylines, EU4 and CK2 was much appreciated. Tho being a proper fan I own them already

I didn't get anything either. I bought shares on Pepins and Nordnet. I have an Avanza account, but I didn't subscribe there because I didn't have enough money there. I would have used the fan form, if it had been allowed for people who already bought shares on Pepins.
