Okay so when you take the Americas and get colonial nations with tons of gold mines, you gain a lot of tariffs since said nations have a ton of income from the gold mines. However, you gain none of the inflation whilst the colonial nation must struggle with that - this makes little sense and iirc Spain struggled irl with the effects of inflation from its mines. Maybe inflation from gold should affect the parent nation of a colony?
