Hey China made some nice small arms. They made copies of the C-96, mauser rifles & CZ LMGs. True they were imported designs. If the Paradox team needs info/more details I can help with that.

Oh so there isn't an 1870 tech?
Edit: also In think minors will have Majors tech trees. For example Finland will have USSRor Germany tech tree and Hungary and Austria will have German.
I've added personal carries to the Italian tech three,
As you probably know, only one or two nations in the world had actual assault rifles in that time period so I'm going with semi or full automatic rifles for tech 3.What are you using for Weapons III? It looks like a regular rifle. Not an assault type rifle. The excellent Berreta 38A is good in the 40 slot. But I cannot find anything appropriate in the 42 slot. They made improvements to the Berreta 38A, but those just made it easier to manufacture and did not improve performance. After that, they just developed cheap and cheaper sub machine guns for the partisan civil war.

The Italian rifle is known as the Armaguerra Mod. 39 semi automatic rifle, production was started almost right at the end of the war so very few was ever made.

I would strive to make each nation's model for each weapons class roughly equivalent. The Armaguerra M.39 would at best be the equivalent of the M1 adopted by the U.S. in 1936. It is certainly not an improvement over the Barretta 38.

Nice but just one thing: it's spelt "Dovunque"
Where they really using these names? (Yes, they were, I checked them on Wiki).
Dovunque means "Anywhere" and Armaguerra "Warweapon". With creativity like that, no wonder the Italians lost the war![]()
I do wonder, Does these icons only symbolic, so 1936 german infantry=japanese infantry, or there are some minor differences to add some flavour?
Symbolic, only companies make the difference of the finished tech.
