So far I haven't seen anything in the WWWs or dev diaries to suggest that there's going to be anything other than artillery. I very well could have missed it though.

My question: are we going to be able to produce infantry guns, mortars, heavy artillery, massive howitzers, Flak 18 guns, pak 38/40, 20mm cannons, etc...... Or is most of that going to be abstracted on the production line into "infantry equipment" or "artillery"?
Cause I would absolutely like to know exactly what I'm producing, rather than just a blanket term to cover very distinct pieces of equipment. All of those things have use in different places, and it would be nice to have them all, or a good selection at least.

Artillery, AA, and AT are the only confirmed gun types with no differentiation between heavy, light, etc. I'm guessing this is so there aren't too many types to manufacture to complicate the vanilla game. You can decide whether to make those a support company or full battalion to control the number at least.

I'm sure mods will be adding more types down the road if not DLC.

Hopefully in tomorrows WWW we will see one of the guys add a battalion of one of the three types to get an idea of the cost difference between that and a support company of guns.

AA, AT, and Arty is in the game as seperate equipment . Mortars, infantry guns, hand held AT weapons are part of the infantry equipment.

Infantry equipment will cover machine guns, hand-held AT, light artillery and mortars; whereas Field Artillery, AT and AA will be separate units which can either be "support" or part of the "battalion".
