Hi all,

When I load map pre Industries DLC I noticed that I had already expenses/incomes into the warehouses/unique factory.
It was easy to conclude that the unique building were included into this sub-budget line.
For me it's not logical as a Plaza of dead (or whatever) has no link with industrial areas.

It's not a big deal but it totally break the information delivered by this particular budget line.

What's your opinion?

(Stab = Tab of course :D)

if you compare the industries tab with the industrial area overview you will see that the surplus of the overwie is taken as income in the tab, instad of the income from the overview
eg. you have 100k income and 75k expenses in the overview you have 25k surplus, but in the tab you ave 25k income(surplus from the overview) and 75k expensens still, so the tab shows -50k surplus instead of +25k

which surplus is taken for the citybudget i dont know

it definetly does not match

for the forest insdustry i have almost 9k income and 5.5k profit inn the overview but only 6.5k income in the tab and 3k profit
the farming itself tells me almost over 13k income and 10k profit but the tab tells me less then 6k income and ~200 profit
and for my ore industry i have ~7k income with 1.5k profit or 1.8k income with ~4k loss

so for a 3 combined do i loose almost 1k each week or do i make 17k(still ~14k with the higher expenses) profit
the differene in expenses is most likely due to raw material storage which is not counted in the industry overview but is counted in the tab

and counting the material for unique factorys on the tab would be stupid, as they are counted for the unique factory expenses, all my unique factorys combine with all warehouses cost less then 20k upkeep, but the tab shows ~100k expenses

I think the window on the industry area itself runs on a shorter timeline than the one part of the big finance window. It seems to update more often real time. Probably every week or so. I know the big finance window works off a longer timeline than that. This isn't a bad thing, just note which is giving you the short term picture and which the longer term.

Ok I was not on the same page, I've just check the Economy panel. I've the same behaviour concerning what you show, Promehtian might be correct on the updating period.
However as I said the line for the warehouse/unique factory is not accurate as it counts also all your unique building (income and expense).
No industry area, no warehouse at all.

well there is definatly something wrong with the tab and the overview
for the tab at least i know, it will acumulate all income(tax, tickets, etc) and expenses(upkeep) for the last week, and every new update the oldest gets thrown out
updates are done a little more then twice a day, exactly 16 updates a week, and this is why industries fluctuate, especially unique factorys, the income the generate only updates in that single instant the products are exported/sold to generic idustry/comercial zone, and warehouses at least for me seem to export 3 trucks at a time -> even bigger spikes with even longer intervals of nothing in between
eg the bakery will produce (at 100%) enough wares for a truck(8t) in 2.083 weeks and for a van in 1.5625 weeks, so if you had an export the last 7 days you see 8k or 6k income depending on vehicle, or you will see 0 income cause no trucks left the bakery in the last 7 days
any other number means partial loads to comercial zones, as they usually dont take full 6t-8t wares per delivery

how the industrial area overview accumulates the data it seemed similar, although the incoming and outgoing wares are register by amount and not worth, and afterwords the actual income/expense is calculated by multiplying amount and price, and it seems to update once per week instead of once per update
so maybe industrial area will calculate everything as soon as iot leaves the building, but the industrial tab only when it arives

and reguarding your original question, no unique buildings do not display on the industrial tab under unique factorys, i just did a test and had a new city with only a theatre and the statue of shopping but no expenses fot the unique factorys even after some months, there is definetly something wrong there

and just to confirm warehouses, those that you can costumize wich things they store, will show up in the unique industry tab and and all wares send to them are recorded as expenses, a single warehouse yard costs 128 and the epenses skyrocketed(over 1000) as soon as my flour mill stored its goods
