Hey. I have a problem with my industry. I have plenty of resources, but the warehouses doesn't want to transport any resources to my factories from my ore industry. I need metals at my oil field for my Petroleum Refinery. I built a warehouse next to it and waited. It does not transport any. Same problem at my Lemonade factory. I need glass there. I did the same as at my oil field, but it does the same thing. It does not transport any glass there. Can someone help me with this? I can't figure it out.

Silly question. But have you built any processing buildings?

It may be worth setting your desired warehouse to 'Fill'. But also take note that proximity doesn't matter to the AI. The resources can come from anywhere in the city.

Yes, I have processing buildings, and I tried using the Fill option at my warehouse as well, they just dont deliver any resources there for some reason.

I also tried setting my other warehouses to empty(maybe they bring some to the desired one), but that didn't work either.

You could try mining more raw material and building a couple more processing buildings. It might be you're not creating enough.

It could even be that your lorries are all busy and you just need wait a little.

I will try this, but i have like 3 warehouses already full of ores, so i don't think that's the problem.

I waited like 10 minutes on 9x gamespeed. :/

I have an another issue as well. Several factories doesn't spawn trucks. It is switching from 0 to 1 trucks used.
Is it flickering between 1 and 0? Or does 1 truck spawn and go on its way normally?

That indicates it can't reach its destination. It spawns, then tries to calculate a route, can't reach it and then despawns as a result.

This can happen if you have two separate parts of the city that aren't reachable by truck, if some one-way roads are the wrong way or missing, so an area can't be reached, or if a building is too far away from a road (usually only a case with mods like Move It). Check one-way roads, make sure all areas of your city can be reached and check for buildings that might be far away from a road. To work a building needs to be within 2 zoning tiles of a road.

Can they also reach factories that might need the resource and export out of the city somehow?

Have you checked the road connections to all your factories, all over your city? To make sure they aren't trying to supply a factory that can't be reached, which then causes them to be stuck in the flickering between 1 and 0 vehicles.

Are you using any mods that might affect this? Like any that restrict services to districts or affect industry in any way?

Let's test that to be sure. The easiest way to do that is add the launch options -noWorkshop and -disableMods to Steam. Most mods can be disabled without problems, but if your save doesn't load properly, just shut the game down and remove the launch options again.

If it loads fine, give it some time to test if they spawn like they should. If you save the city, make sure to do so as a new file. Just in case you later find an issue caused by removing mods temporarily.

How To Set Launch Options
  • Right-click on the game title under the Library in Steam and select Properties.
  • Enter the launch options you wish to apply in the box (be sure to separate each code with a space). Should look like this:
    Code:
    -noWorkshop -disableMods
  • Close the game's Properties window and launch the game.

I have lots of road assets so I don't think this will work. I also found some articles about it on the internet, and they encountered the same issue without any mods, but I dodn't find any soultion for the problem.
