By the end of WWII the United States had roughly 140 Carriers ( including Jeep Carriers ). I simply do not see the possibility of the U.S. to create so many Essex Carriers under the capacity of the United States to build its industry from 1936.

I would suggest that if a Industrial Unit is unassaulted, the capacity should grow over time. It does not seem unreasonable that the efficiency of a given factory would improve with experience.

Additionally, Aircraft Carriers production due to boosts to production ( In the U.S. ) which would translate into Assembly Line - Naval Production 2. Perhaps it would be possible to raise manufacturing techniques to one more level.

Just a suggestion on how the U.S. massed such an huge navy in the Pacific.

The reason why the US cant build as many units as it did historically is because the IC values dont reflect reality. The IC advantage of the United States relative to Japan and other powers has been greatly reduced, probably for game balance reasons.

Another way of allowing for more realistic production numbers would be to bump up the serial run bonuses some. On the history channel the other day they were talking about liberty ship production times and production times of escort carriers. Those things were smoking down the launch ramps, especially once people figured out how and where to cut corners.
