I don't understand. I haven't traffic problems, as you can see, however it seems that the trucks don't transport raw materials and oil.
It is a bug?
It is a bug?
But it is assumed that when a store or factory asks for something, a truck to arrive as soon as possible, no? Did not know about the negotiations, but this is annoying, because so long to negotiate? The factory will end abandoned...More info on what is the negativity about this would be more helpfull.
like is your I and C suffering from this? Keep in mind your city pop is very low, so maybe they are trading the goods, you can easily check this in trade tab. I will also say that ofcourse there wont be traffic with this low population.
I have a 2 lane road in unique direction for trucks entering in the industrial area, then I have the same road for them to go out.Double check your road connections to and from that area, if vehicles cannot get access in and out then this is what I'd expect to see.
CO must improve many things within the issue of the industry, from what I see...You know what would be really awesome? If the industry wasn't so vague. Industry in the game right now at the very best is incredibly sloppy. Take what everyone is saying with a grain of salt, becase other than how much we export and import, everything about industry is still very in the dark and most people just don't know what they're talking about.
You mean that my industry are exporting? In the begining of the game start with normal industry, this will export (If to much resource) and import goods. They are basic so early on they supply the most demands. the specilized industry will mostly keep up with the basic industries demand, meaning they will give them what will make theyre materials better unless they import. Seems to me u got goods that no body needs atm? Maybe you also actually have found out that the outside cities also have not evolved enough for them to use this materials.
I'll try, but I thought this was the best way to relieve traffic in the future, add a road only direction to enter, and another of the same type to exit.Try changing those roads to 2-lane 2-way roads and see what happens, if traffic starts appearing in the area, then something is wrong with the 2-lane 1-way connections you're using.
I've made several industrial districts in the same manner and the only time there's ever been no traffic is when I mistakenly had a section of 2-lane 1-way road that was the wrong direction.
Ok, thanks for the info. Anyway, to me that sounds good, what bothers me is that the factory is asking products and the correct truck not arrive, so the factory ends abandoned. xDI think they are functioning as you can see some delivery cars in the right 2-lane road driving to a commercial i would believe, unless they are exporting. U can easily check this by going to the info and clicking the outside connection button. Keep in my the city is still small, traffic wont happen atleast yet.
So I am convinced that this is a bug, what happens is simply that the script of the truck isn't running, then the truck doesn't appear.I have had this bug. All my trains were backed up leaving the map (train despawning problem) and my coal plants didn't get any deliveries (no traffic problems). Even if I disabled all cargo trains for some reason they didn't get deliveries via road either.
Exists relation to this issue and the amount of cims? It is rare, if one factory ask for resources, the truck should arrive, yes or yes, if not, the factory will ends abandoned and I don't want to be removing this all the time. You only have 2k cims? Is the reason why no deliveries are coming is because there is already enough raw materials within your city/en-route/ to supply the 2k cims?
