Ok, this is tied into my "Torf" the dungboy thread, bit I'm curious as to which individual characters people despise and why ? ( No dynasties, that thread was done already )

Emma d'Hauteville ( The most evil, conniving woman I have ever seen in the game. I start as the Duke of Apulia alot )
Richard d'Bevere ( This guy has killed off more of my spymasters / wives than anyone else )

Erik the Heathen. Big fish in the Swedish pond at the earliest start date and therefore a threat and a speedbump, as you have to deal with him and his heathen shenanigans instead of busying yourself with nabbing as much pagan land as possible before Denmark or Norway takes it. He also has non-de jure vassals, messing up stuff in central Sweden.

Also, Alberto Azzo of Lombardy, he never dies and is loved by his vassals whilst he leads suicidal wars against the Kaiser. I also despise the Duke of Carinthia and Verona.

Morcar of Northumberland, Erik the Heathen, al-Mustansir, Cuman Khan Saru and any Mongol. Morcar is an annoying troublemaker no matter who rules in England, Erik is a huge boner in the affairs of the King of Sweden, al-Mustansir is like x5000 more powerful than he should be, Saru is a shameless meddler and Mongols are... Mongols.

All members of the Fatimid dynasty for being more OP than they were historically
All members of any dynasty that replaces the Fatimid blob with their own green blob in vanilla's decadence revolts
All members of any dynasty that is a vassals of the Fatimids, or their decadence revolt successors
All members of any dynasty that marry into the Fatimids, or their decadence revolt successors
All members of any dynasty that marry into the vassals of the Fatimids, or their decadence revolt successors
All members of any dynasty that are allied with the Fatimids, or their decadence revolt successors
All members of the Nubian dynasty, for not being strong enough to stop the Fatimids, or their decadence revolt successors
All members of the Ethiopian dynasties, for not being strong enough to stop the Fatimids, or their decadence revolt successors
All members of the Abbasid dynasty, for not putting the Fatimids, or their decadence revolt successors, in place

I used to hate Henrich IV of the HRE with a passion because I preety much saved his throne early in a campaign when I used my high diplomacy to get the pope to overturn an excommunication and fough tooth and nail to be a good ally during the rebellion he was facing. And how does he repay? Pulls a claim on me and brings the wrath of the HRE on my 2-duchies realm as soon as I become independent from France (Flanders game). In later campaigns he's been mostly my friend so I bury that hatchet.

On the other hand, I made it a house rule not to attack Denmark while Svend II or his descendents have the throne, as in the previously mentioned attack by the HRE, he was the only one to come to my help (and I had like 5 big shots in my allies tab) and boy did he come through, dude takes his army and rampages through hostile Germany, breaking enemy armies going my way left and right, goes on foot from Denmark to Belgium and proceeds to camp in Gent scaring the Imperials away every time they came through Holland. And that my friends, is the definition of badass

Bertalan - a hungarian lowborn in the service of Lampert the II in a game I got going as a custom ruler of Transylvania.

He was a military genius, who singlehandedly (or well, he had 500 guys with him), crushed the 2000 man strong coalition army consisting of most dukes in the Hungarian kingdom.

Because of him my ruler and his only son has been imprisoned for 15 years -.-
