No problem, I did that on purpose, since I would like to see the in-game effects of it... Cuirassier and Hussar are cavalry attachments only... so if the % is of all divisions it might get screwed, but it works fine if it checks each unit-type...
anyway, I don't mind if the AI works has 105% attachments and only 100% units... (a Cuirassier-Guard-Division?) :)

Okay... :)

OK, here is a culture-map... It's on geocities so it might cease working at random...

That's about it. :) I just have this to say: I have focused on a setup which will provide an interesting game, rather then on accuracy. Feel free to comment.
Well it is always fun to be told that your dansish ;)

But you folks ARE almost Danish! And Värmland is Norwegian so there!
Anyway, which cultures will the countries recieve? Only those within the country? Or will they get the cultures for all national provinces?

EDIT: On Religion: The Berbers, Turks and Tartars should all be muslim, and just for fun the Ugrians, Sami and Karelians could be made Pagan. :p I suppose that state religion would be the religion of the country's capital?

I've not decided yet... and I don't know what rule I should apply for extra cultures... in the first version, I guess each country will have only one culture and they will be unable to get more... we'll see about later versions...

Something like that... but I guess a nation with the other two provinces of a certain religion will still have that religion, rather than it's capital-religion... if there are three different religions in one nation, capital-religion could be used... luckily religion isn't a big part of the game...

And stockholmare are the only true swedes  ;)

On a more serious note, maybe it would be wiser (sp?) to make all the provs in the same country the same culture?

Wiser, and easier perhaps, but posssibly less fun as well...

You shoulda said that before! Then I'll have to get rid of the Berbers, Tartars etc... :(

oh... it's not important for me, really... what time did you choose?

The base was a rough map of cultures 1835, and then I followed your orders and worked to split up the largest cultures (S/N. German, French, Russian, Spanish etc.) and to introduce some elements which I thought would make for a funnier and more interesting Indepedent scenario (Muslim Tartars and Iberian Berbers, Pagan Ugrians etc.). Well, that's how I worked, but if you want I could change it back to historical cultures, though then Russian etc. would be awfully big...

But it's your mod, so you get to choose. :)

Sounds good... can't say it's perfect until game-tested... first, release, then fix... simple...

Would you like me to do POP-files with my cultural setup? If so, which POP configuartion to use? The latest one or the one before that?

The setup isn't complete yet, but I've at least decided to have 10 pops in each province and each will contain 50 000 people.
So, what you can do is for each province, tie a number of pops to a certain religion and culture. For instance:
Code:
Province #85 (Kuopio)
6 protestant finnish
1 orthodox finnish
3 orthodox russian
I still have the major POP-files, at least until the setup is decided.

I made a xls data file with useful information (primary Tags and provinces), some of it is in swedish. Download here (rar).

Looks good... I see that you write in the "Svänglish" I also use most of the time. ;) Anyhoo, a quick q:

States. You said before that each country would be a state, but this isn't the case in the list there, intentional or not done yet?

Anyway, workin' on POPs...
Another thing: Should the aristo/clerk or capital/officer be in the capital? Your earlier post and .xls file tells different stories...

Ok, I'll give you a short explanation of what I've done: (most things are probably obvious)
Tags sheet:
Simply country #, country tag, name in-game, as well as province IDs for capital and secondary provinces, then there's culture, which I hope you could fill in as well as correct the religion, 1 manufactory will be given to each state at start, I thought this was balanced and finally there are a state-tag attached to each country-tag, BUT I haven't tied them yet.
Provinser and IVS-Provinser is mostly the same, but I have copied the important provinces (European ones) to the IVS-Provinser-sheet.
Area is a list of colonial state-tags, still untied to provinces.
Finally there's Övrigt, nothing important... call it a leftover...
