Lord Boreal said:Just a quick questio regarding the IES. Can a save game from that be used with the EU2=>Vic converter? Im asking before I try it just incase something goes horribly pear-shaped.
Thanx
Nope, can't do it alone either...Tempelridderen said:Have you fixed the problems yet?
Unfortunately no success.Byakhiam said:Well, for the mod I'm doing, I simply commented out the include command for events.txt in scenario file and had no problems in running a test run up to march.

Also, I saved on the 10th, loaded, and instead of crashing on the 13th it crashed on the 20th. How far has anyone got?
It might just be the incredible number of variables inherent to victoria combined with the incredible number of variables inherent to the independent scenario. I know the EU2 IES crashed regularly on my computer unless I ran it at one of the slowest settings until some countries got eliminated, then it ran fine. Vicky has so many more variables than EU2 that I'm not surprised it crashes so much. Maybe try just erasing some of the countries and seeing if it runs longer that way? If that works, then perhaps you should consider increasing the number of provinces each country gets.Kaigon said:Unfortunately no success.thanks anyway

What I want/need to know is if you prefer less area covered or larger nations (or a third solution).
