Yes, it is a great idea.

I believe you when you say it is too much work to do alone, but why not make it into a collaborative project? Gather all the graphics artists together and divide up the work, then it shouldn't be so bad.

That's correct. I believe MKJ was aiming for a total overhaul of the interface, which would have been a great thing to have for more flavorful games.

To summarize, I think we have learned from this thread that the cause of the decline in independant scenario editing is a result of laziness and/or lack of feedback.

You know i expressed an interest in the original thread, not as a "project leader", but as a definite contributor. I would still like to see this project move forward. I could use the knowledge gained to skin a new interface for the vinland scenario.

Maybe if we could attract some new, enthusiastic players to this forum then we would really see an upswing in scneario quantity and quality...
