increasing time and decreasing difficulties

Ok, I bought this game and still learning to play it...

My problem is that I cannot increase or decrease time with my keyboard... the problem is .. I think that my Keyboard is set to US/ English standard and the game is the GermanVersion.. so does anyone know which keys I have to press to get it working..?

I had exactly the same problem! Cos the damn manual says Strg + and Strg -. But apprently that means, you have to hold ctrl down and press + or -

Ctrl + and Ctrl - were the keys I used to increase/decrase time flow

I found my problem.. I should have used the - & + keys on the padlock..
