Invasions required lot's of merchant ships with supplies yet in old HOI 3 you go after convoys at invasion beach's or port and there is just 1 there to
sink. Also, convoys starting at a port should show more than 1 to sink. In game convoy's should be changed from ports that are in danger of attack.
Example: Portsmouth in HOI 3 had huge number of convoy's going in and out to various locations around the world. So was made easy target for
both air and sub attack. As I recall UK actually routed most convoys thru Western UK ports like Manchester, Liverpool, and Glasgow to avoid at least daylight air attacks. AI keeps most convoys going and coming out of Portsmouth.

Since the game doesn´t model mines you will never have a 100% adequate naval system.

Through I agree that blockaded ports shouldn´t receive supplies at all.

In terms of the OP, we don't really know how invasions (or offensives) will work with the new Battleplan system, or how convoys are necessarily going to work (whether it will be a 'flow' or actual groups of ships travelling together on the map), but it looks like it's been changed up a fair bit. All being well, this'll better reflect the needs of an amphibious invasion. The devs have mentioned that you can tell convoys which regions not to use, so it will be possible when playing as the UK to tell your convoys not to dock in Portsmouth (which will be a good thing :)).

How do you know that HOI4 won't model mines in any way? And there is no such thing as "100% adequate naval system".

This - we know a fair bit about the naval combat system, but much less about convoys or whether there are other elements.

I hate writing this (I just searched around but couldnt find it) I am pretty sure I read that mines are not in, However as axe99 said convoys are now on map, So maintaining supply to a landing force is going to be a very different affair if you do not have naval superiority. German rapid sealion maybe a thing of the past.

Problem with mines, again, is making AI for it. If Paradox can do it, great.

Mines also requires including minesweeping, which also might be too much detail.

Hmm... I asked you a question and you didn't answer it at all. I guess that you just assumed that mines will not be represented in any way (see "Coastal Forces - A Key Part of the Stategic War" to check some ideas that the community presented there). That doesn't mean that it will be the case, unless one of the devs confirms this, ofc. I would expect to hear sth about the issue in a DD about amphibious invasions.

And there is no such thing as "100% adequate naval system", because that would be a perfect simulation. That's simply not feasible ATM. You can aim for "good enough", though.
