To whom it may concern
Admirals with a level 3 positioning skill incorrectly have positioning modified to 75% instead of the supposed 7.5% as shown via the tooltips. This gives them a huge advantage over any admiral with another level of this skill, e.g. level 2 = 5% positioning, level 3 = 75% positioning, level 4 = 10% positioning (see below).
This is such a simple yet fundamental error that undermines the release of all the work put into MTG as it unbalances the mechanics of naval combat. Until it is fixed either in patch or hotfix, I find the game unplayable as it skews any playthrough's naval combat without cause or reason. Reading the Ironclad 1.6.1 BETA hotfix I cannot see the issue has been flagged. It is my hope that this problem will be fixed ASAP either through a patch or a hotfix, and that by reporting this issue it is brought to your attention in good time.
My level of frustration is only created from the high amount of anticipation I have to begin playing MTG as it looks like a very ambitious, detailed and enjoyable continuation of the HOI4 experience thus far.
Kind Regards
