Just fired up EUIV and after about five minutes my firewall broke in and informed me that eu4.exe was receiving an incoming internet connection request. Stupidly I allowed it ('cos, u know it's eu4, right) but then i thought what the hell is going on here, WHO exactly is trying to connect to eu4 from the internet and WHY?
I'm like a little worried by this and would very much like clarification on whether their is any legitimate reason for this request and any advice as to what I should do if there isn't. FYI this has never to my knowledge happened before but i have recently installed Conquest of Paradise, Res Publica and wealth of Nations.
