The other flaw was the Polish deployment. The spread their army out to defend the frontiers. If the Polish had given up the frontier zone then they would of had the same number of men defending a shorter front. It might not of made that much of difference but it wouldn't of done them any harm.

I belive that there was a Polish cavalry charge. However they charged Germna infantry and scattered them. Then the German tanks came up and routed the Polish cavalry. The Germnas then decided to remove the bit about there own men running and so the Polish cavalry charged the tanks.

Yes I am implying that both Germany, Poland and even the USSR had cavalry units. These being men, armed with guns and grenades riding horses onto the front, then dismounting and fighting in the trenches. These units were useful because
a)No Fuel, less logistics
b)Quicker than infantry, more maneuverability

Don't be so surprised some of the best and most elite (The Guard) USSR troops were infact cavalry units. These served in both German and Russian armies till 1945.

People are having a hard time understanding this, I see. Wonder why.

Germnay had a single Cavalry Division during Barborossa. It was upgraded to an armoured division in November 1942 (the 24th Panzer for those who care).
