is there a faq or feature's list for in nomine? hell, is there a forum specifically for in nomine where i can get a clear idea of what's actually included in the game? because i don't want to clog up the rome board with questions about something else...

Then why didn't you post this question in the EU3 forum? ;)

That said, try this.

ive had rome now for a few days and am still messin about with it but im probably gonna go back to playin IN over the weekend for the reasons everyone else has described.

IN just feels a lot more of a complete game than rome. i feel about rome now the same as i felt about EU3 when it was 1st released, it just feels a lot more spartan anf souless that IN.

but heres the thing.

i reckon rome has even more potential than EU3. rome has a fantastic template for a game what with all the characters etc. im sure the potential will begin to be realised in the months to come.

Rome just feels...like there's nothing much to do. Very lightweight.

Rome got a lot better after the 1.2 patch and is a good game. However I do think it's suffered from what I suspect is Paradox's attempt to make it easier to play, to appeal to a larger market. This has resulted in it being the weakest of their titles IMO.

I enjoyed playing Rome after 1.2, but since In Nomine has come out I've been playing that exclusively. There is just so much more to do with research, decisions, colonies and pirates, navy patrols, missions and so on.. not to mention (due to the subject matter) a larger map and more countries to play.

Of course Rome hasn't had the benefit of two expansion packs like EUIII has and does feel 'lite' in comparison.. and this could be a problem for Paradox because if their games only feel very fleshed out after an expansion or two, fewer people are likely to buy new games as they'll tend to feel quite basic in comparison.
