Hello,

Can anyone tell me more about migrations in Victoria II? For example, I start with Sweden and I make this country great and rich. People flow from everywhere to Stockholm. Then I would like to check what people came here, from where etc. Will I see this in ethnic-structure of the province? For example, on the beggining there were 90% swedish people, 5% russians, 3% from Norway, 1% from Finland and 1% Jews. Is it "blocked" or maybe numbers will be changed directly after migrants arrival?

Is migration politics changable? Can I block migrations or set it free? Can I invite people from one country and do not invite from others?

I would like to make Stockholm a warm place for people from whole world. I hope it is possible in Vicky 2.

Cheers!

You could see this for whole nation and for individual province in original Vicky. Judging from screenshots, you should be able to see it also no state level now.

But remember, that those nationalities will get assimilated over time, so the actual immigration will be greater then shown by those numbers.

Btw will migration from a province have a hard cap like it did in Vicky 1? I seem to remember that no matter how many millions were unemployed (I played China ^^) each province would only let go of about 550 pops per month.

Really, I was left with the impression, that in Victoria 1 that statistics were only for a very short period, like a month. I don't know if you could see... say, the total migration in the past 10 years.

Those statistics showed current composition of your POPs. If there are also direct migration statistics, I don't know about them.

I would like to see migration statistics in game, it would be fantastic. I wish to know who is in my community. For example, I set up social help for people and I wish to know if people from countries without social help came to me or not. Another example, if it was possible to set up islam for a state religion in catholic country, will catholic people run away or not? I am very into those demographic stuff.

I don't think you'll be able to change state religion save by event: it was fixed in Vicky 1.

And I'm waiting with baited breath to see a DD on migration: it's soemthing I want to find out about as well.
