I dont want to enrage our lovely GM But I was just hinking, perhaps some edits for Spain are in order since they will not be a very viable nation as it stands right now, I´m not talking about going overboard here. Just some small edits to make the game a bit more interesting with an alive and breathing Spain.

Actually, my overwhelming sense of balance and fairness is tempting me to keep my mouth shut and halve Spain's inflation but as long as those two gold provinces aren't mine I have to complain

I know, but I was´nt just talking about the inflation, just the crappy state Spain is in, no colonies, no mexico, basically nothing they should have at this time, and all they have to look forward too is crappy events. I also think Andalusia should be returned to Spain
And I think that everyone would agree to edits. Everyone wants a Spain that can be a player in the world, if only to balance Portugal

Frankly, I don't have any plan on becoming a perm, so I feel like it's not my place to ask for inflation edits or whatnot. So, it's up to you guys whether you want to partition Spain eventually (because that is essentially what will happen in the state it is in), or whether you want it to be a viable power. I think that it might be beyond hope in the current state, as all that is coming is bad events, and Spain should be very rich and powerful now and just starting to decline, whereas in this game, it is far from rich or powerful.
Just keep in mind that with a 100% inflation, Spain is effectively below even the Pagan techgroup (albeit with a larger neighbor bonus). I just don't think that Spain *can* survive when her neighbors are going to seriously outpace her technology-wise and she possesses such valuable manpower and tax provinces .

Im really sorry mr GM and all, u know i was the man who was asking for inflation edit for spain all the times. it cant be done as u sad mr GM. we have no need for spain then. so we r thinking to cut it between us as AI nation. there's 2 way to balance the game:
get a strong spain or
cut spain between his neighbours. so it seems we have the 2. choice. no problem for me, but the game would be much better if siesson ago u were edited out span inflation. once again no problem for me, u r GM here not us.

Going to preorder the game, that way you get a beta key and they ship the game to you on the realease day, so I can play without monthly fee for 1-2 months before the game launches. I think the european beta starts Nov 26.
