@Karaiskandar: The infrastructure shouldn't be that big of a problem. Remember, these divisions are the ones that got through the Congo within weeks. They are largely Air cavalry and Marine units, which should not suffer too much difficulty.
@Asalto: Yeah, its funny seeing all of these old guard generals, who look like they fought in 1905 or 1914 now battling it out in world war 3 with weapons and equipment most of them probably never thought they would see. I bet most of them wish they had those AK-47's, T-62's, and MiG-19's 40 years ago.
@Zeldar155: That is only a drop in the bucket for the Russians. It sometimes seems like they have unlimited reserves for their forces.
@salidas16: It is probably too early to be discussing postwar Europe, but one thing is for sure: I am going to strip Germany of all that it has gained since 1936. Austria, the Baltic Duchy, Bohemia/Czech Republic, Croatia, all of them will be removed from German control.
@everyone else: thanks for the comments!
In the Atlantic ocean, allied destroyers on routine patrol run into a huge German carrier armada just to the east of Bermuda. All contact is lost when the German carriers wipe these small allied warships out to the last ship.
Back in India, a titanic battle takes place as the allied forces throw everything they have at destroying the Russian bridgehead over the Indus river. In ferocious fighting, over 1 million allied troops, mostly from the Indian army, slug it out with another 1 million Russian soldiers, who have the huge advantage of fighting with massive tank and mechanized support. Realizing that retaking Lahore is hopeless at this point, the allied troops disengage, a great failure in the Indian theatre.
Back at sea, the German fleet that had been rampaging around the Atlantic ocean begins to run the English Channel back to German ports. In their path are the relatively outdated ships of the revived British Royal Navy, which include a number of aircraft carriers. Realizing that they have no hope against such a powerful German fleet, the British retreat back to port.
Believing that they have safely made it through the English Channel, the German naval commanders are shocked when they see what is waiting to meet them at the other side. The German fleet runs headlong into a huge armada of US navy warships, including all of the US navy's Enterprise class aircraft carriers and huge numbers of escorting vessels. Realizing they are totally outmatched, the German fleet flee to the east, but not after suffering damage due to American carrier airstrikes.
The US navy is not content with allowing the German's to rest unharassed. American aircraft carriers immediately begin launching massive air raids on the German fleet at anchor, hitting these docked warships with wave after wave of jet aircraft. Due to the huge amount of targets, the raiding jets are unable to sink many vessels, but do manage to destroy at least 2 enemy carriers as well as some escorts.
Meanwhile, back in the far east, US and allied troops manage to make yet another landing along the Siberian coast, this time, just across from Sakhalin island. This force however is smaller than the army that landed in Okhotsk, made up of former occupation troops from Japan, as well as a 120,000 strong expeditionary force from the army of the Republic of Korea.
The fighting in China is now moving further north, towards the border with Russian controlled Mongolia. Here, at Datong, a mix of Qing and Russian units attempt to hold up the US advance in the mountain ranges of the region. Although fighting bravely, these enemy units are forced to retreat after heavy fighting.
Back in Europe, the German fleet decides to make another sortie out into the Atlantic through the English Channel. Not expecting this move, the British Royal navy is caught off guard in the channel, and is slaughtered by German carriers. The British losses are devastating, including all of Britain's aircraft carriers and their only battleship. It will take a long time before the British are ready for frontline combat at sea again.
In Anatolia, US and South African troops attempt a large scale offensive against enemy forces along the southern Mediterranean coastline. However, this attack goes badly right from the start, as huge Ottoman forces, supported by Bulgarian mountaineers, fight back any attempts by allied troops to take control of the province. Realizing that they cannot make any meaningful advances, the attack is called off.
Meanwhile, along the coast of eastern Africa, the German colony of Madagascar is captured by units of the Platinean army, operating out of South Africa.
