Improving resources production

I think I read somewhere that resource output can be increased by raising the infrastructure level (probably in the SGO review, IIRC). Is this true?

So is this so?.. hopefully improving infra is slightly cheaper/faster than IC.. wouldnt like paying 45ic for 1yr to get from 90 to 91

It's the same as IC, but you would go up 10 points, instead of 1.

i think yes, i haven't read all the FAQ about the techs, so i can confirm this when i finish reading it

where I read it was in one of the reviews and it stated that raising the infrastructure of a province increases troop movement across the province as well as increase resource production.
it would be nice for someone who has the game to indicate the cost and time frame, as well as for IC increase. I have conflicting data that says IC increase takes 100 days or 365 days.

One of the reviews mentioned finding it a chore to go and build industry in every province every three months, but that may well have been a late beta version.
