Well with only 2 weeks to go, all I think they can really do is patches and balance.
if we wanted to see something changed or added, it will probably be in the planning phase of the first major DLC.
Personally I'd like to see Espionage, Trade, International Politics or any other interesting ways you can interact with other empires outside of war.
