improvements to diplomacy

Goodevening at all!

This is a suggestion based on old euIII system, that has more option in diplomatic field, especially in peace treaties to resolve a war.

The thing that miss in ckII , are the peace treaties , for me is the lack of options and possibilities ,

in euIII the attackers that are losing the war could also lose countries, or other stuff ,at the end of that war (by peace treaty options, ruled by score) , and a winning one, can force many hard conditions to the loosers , in order to achieve a major victory.

So i believe. a greater flexibility factor in eu III, now in ck2 you have only 3 possible results :

1 wins ,and obtain the contested prize

2 make a white peace

3 lose , and pay in prestige and money ecc... ,so you will pay the expected result .

I find that is reductive for wars mechanics and gameplay , anyway, i strongly believe that a convergence with eu mechanics could bring to a really improved game.

If possible , if you like the suggestion , if you wish a solution of this kind..... please ,take care only of these few words , thanks a lot .

Well I disagree, this game is not about the war like EU3, it is about your family. I love EU3, but never liked how easy it was to take land. This is much better for me, but I respect your view sir!! I even do not like how the holy war in game lets you grab large ammounts of counties in one war. Now I will point out, I hate the blobs, not just because it makes looking at the map sucky, but because you should not be able to hold that much land during that time period. I am a champion of the anti blob, and wish you would join me for a new map overlay, the anti blob overlay if you will!!

i dont like the blob for sure man :) , but i think that a balanced system can bypass this issue , i remember that mm for euIII do it well

But they already have EU IV coming out. We will just agree to disagree, if anything I would prefer it to be much harder to obtain land and hold it. Holy wars, press claims, usurp, fabricate claims, there are so many tools to take land, and none really to protect your land.
