Improved Japan Map

After my vision of a better England was so well recieved, @Grand Historian asked if I would redraw Japan, and thus I have created this.

Please note that the idea of these changes is too add depth to an area and make it more accurate, but not to go completely indepth in certain areas with tiny provinces. They still need to be clickable and a reasonable size. I'm not going to make an area a mass of utrechts and maltas.

So, this time my focus was Japan. Here is what I would change if I was Paradox:

The changes added a total of 13 new provinces to a variety of old and new daimyo's. The full list of the 17 new tags is as follows:

• Ashina
• Chiba
• Isshiki
• Ito
• Kasai
• Kikuchi
• Kitabatake
• Kono
• Kyogoku
• Miyoshi
• Mogami
• Murakami
• Nanbu
• Satake
• Shoni
• Toki
• Tsuitsui

I have also split up the massive japanese culture group into 9 sub-groups. These include Ryukyuan, Nankai, Shikoku, Chugoku, Kansai, Chubu, Tokaido, Kanto and Tohoku.

I have also reformed the Base Tax (or development) of the area. This has resulted a small buff to the area, but each individual daimyo has stayed relatively similar.

I currently have added a estuary to settsu, and a CoT to etchu (the COT on Kyushu has move to Hizen)

Interesting design, really liking it. Also nice how Japan starts out so small, that is bound to create lots of conflict.

The map is nice, very nice in fact. I like it much more than your British Isles map (which still looks nice, but has too many provinces). I feel that the province density is perfect.

The splitting of the Japanese culture monolith is, I feel, uncalled for. I personally don't feel it makes sense to split Japan into so many cultures, but like I said in your British Isles thread, that's a personal thing.
