Okay...this may end up being so obvious I'll hit myself over the head...but...

A whole bunch of the Land and Naval tech bonuses say "Improved CRT"...what, for the love of all that's holy, does this mean?? :confused:

CRT is an old term used for many wargames and military simulations.

CRT = combat resolution table

In the context that you see "CRT" appear in the game, it simply means that your army's combat ability has been improved..... i.e. their chances to fight better during the combat resolution phase is greatly improved.

That's really all it means.

Okay...thanks...so it wasn't that obvious. I don't feel like a moron now :D

This CRT improvement is also when the army icon uniforms change too, right...just like in EU1?

well sort of. the CRT improvements naturally happens every time your land tech increases.

of course, army uniforms don't always change.... for european nations they might change uniforms only a handful of times during the entire 400 years

but for some non-european nations.... the uniforms don't seem to change at all. this does not mean that their techs cannot improve.... it simply means that these nations lack the graphical eye candy that you see for european soldiers
