I am trying to fully understand what you can and cannot do when you imprison someone (be it a vassal, sub-vassal, courtier, POW, foreign spymaster, etc.)

Can someone elaborate one or two cases in which you are permitted to "deal" with prisoners without losing relations with your other vassals or foreign lords.

Example: If a vassal revolts, therefore becoming a traitor (correct?), and I win the civil war and imprison him/her. What "right" do I have to perform revoke title/banish/execute without getting negative consequences or pissing off several other people?

One free revocation of title.

Killing, dont know about that.

Banish.
Maybe it adds up as you lose 80 with the imprisoned character. If you release them, they tend to rebel instantly. Maybe after three or four culling, you can banish or kill.

Banish is tyrannical, so you can never do it without repercussions I think. But it might be well worth it, if you are weak(like France in 1066).

I've been able to banish without repercussions when I've stripped someone of all their titles. It's good for getting some extra gold and getting rid of a potential pain in the ass.

In one of Polish demo games I had every direct vassal rebel to put one of the King's brothers on the throne and after putting them down and imprisoning everyone I banished the lot. It was nice having all the titles and reorganising the kingdom to my liking. Everyone left hated my guts with -340 tyranny, but no one dared rebel again. :) (I also didnt let any one new vassal have more than one county that might have had something to do with it)

Nice! So I take it you do get all titles from a banished lord?

When you revoke a title can you revoke more than 1 at a time? or do you absolutely have to banish to get "ALL" his titles.

I'd also love to hear if anyone ever caught a foreign or realm council member stealing tech, establishing spy networks or fabricating claims etc.? If so what could you do to him?

Heck there should also be a torture option for those that want to RP as a maniacal tyrrant! :p

Yep, when you banish someone, you get all their titles and whatever money they had aswell. And yes when you revoke a title, you can only do it one at a time and each time will add a tyranny malus to the your vassals opinion of you unless the person is a traitor(rebelled against you or they are plotting agaisnt you), though you can't revoke more than one title from a traitor without incurring the tyranny malus.

I've never caught and imprisoned an AI agent(though the Byzantime Emperor caught my spymaster studying their technology - I paid a ransom to get him back) but I imagine you can randsom them or execute them, aswell as let them go of course.

Traitors caught red-handed trying to murder you can be executed without penalty through a series of events, after being imprisoned.
