Geez. I'm astounded at some people's reactions in here. Podcat mentioned that he would likely talk about the event a bit this Friday.
"I'll give a little update on stuff in the dev diary next friday about the event and what happened there." From the thread entitled "Within 2015 Really?"
As for why there's so little information being put out by third parties, my guess is as good as yours. Likely, I think it has to do with the fact that literally Paradox invited no one (from what I can tell) that has played a previous HOI title at a proficient level from what we've seen. From those that have commented on their experience with paradox games, it seems that it all stems from EU IV or CK II. Also, all those that have written articles seem to be in the same general boat. They have little knowledge of the workings of the game, and definitely weren't used to a fast-paced multiplayer setting on top of it. Multiplayer in HOI III that doesn't allow for pausing is a huge shocker to most people coming from single player and I highly doubt this will be any different. So sure, the people that attended the event were "interested" in the game, but no where near on the same level as some of the HOI IV youtubers or people watching this thread.
As for why Arumba and Quill haven't posted, who the hell knows? There's no requirements that they even have to post anything. I'm sure they'll get around to it if they feel like it but it certainly appears they are in no hurry.
From what I can tell, it appears that the Paradox team wanted to test how HOI IV would be with people that only have played EU IV or CK II and maybe generate a little media coverage as a slight bonus. Beyond that, I really doubt that we'll get anything enlightening from the event. Friday and the Dev Diary is the best bet but realistically, dev diaries are always incredibly short. I'm sorry that I feel like I'm dashing some people's dreams on these forums but I just can't bare to watch people over-hyping themselves continually.
